<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator whose thickness dimension can be reduced even when using a piezoelectric vibrator miniaturized in a horizontal direction, and a method for manufacturing this. <P>SOLUTION: This piezoelectric oscillator is provided with a piezoelectric vibrator 40 in which a piezoelectric oscillating piece 42 is housed, an oscillating circuit element 50 fixed to a back face 40a of the piezoelectric vibrator 40 in which an oscillating circuit is incorporated and a lead frame 20 electrically connected to the oscillating circuit element 50. The lead frame 20 is provided with a lead part 62 for connection connected to the piezoelectric vibrator 40, and a top end part 62a of the lead part 62 for connection is made adjacent to the piezoelectric vibrator 40, and the upper face 62b of the top end part 62a is arranged on almost the same face as a back face 40a of the piezoelectric vibrator 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
