PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interphone system whereby houses can cope with a visit of a visitor in cooperation with each other. SOLUTION: The interphone system is mainly characterized in comprising: an intercom slave unit provided with a speaker 8, a microphone 9, and a camera; and an intercom master unit 6 for making a voice speech with the slave unit and provided with a display section 7 for displaying image information photographed by the camera. The intercom master unit 6 is connected to a second doorphone master unit 6 of a second interphone system installed in another house by signal lines, and when a visitor visited to the other house calls a resident of the other house through an operation button of the intercom slave unit, a notice control means of the intercom master unit 6 transmits a notice signal to the second intercom master unit 6, from which the notice signal is outputted.
