FIELD: metallurgy, namely apparatuses for automatic registration and feeding additives in the form of pigs to steel casting ladle for out-of-furnace treatment, namely for killing melts. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes electronic control board with electronic counter and digital indicator, mechanism for feeding pigs having frame and cylindrical box with diameter (2 - 4)B where B - lengthwise size of pig. Said cylindrical box has vibrator, it is mounted on flexible links and oriented vertically. Bottom of cylindrical box is made at least of several planar plates mutually joined and having opposite slopes relative to horizon. Rectangular discharging slot is formed in butt zone of sad plates; length of said slot consists of (1.2 - 2)B and its width consists of (1.2 -1.3)C where C - cross size of pig. Discharging slot is communicated with square cross section branch pipe whose size is equal to that of slot. Said branch pipe is inclined relative to horizon. Two openings are formed in opposite walls of branch pipe and they are spaced by distance (0.3 - 0.4)B from discharging end of branch pipe having tapered cut. In one of said opening light source is mounted and in other opening light receiver is arranged. On body of cylindrical box strain gages are mounted for measuring mass; they are connected with possibility of switching to electronic counter and to digital indicator of control board. ^ EFFECT: possibility for accurately measuring quantity and mass of added material, enhanced quality of steel. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg |
