<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-glass composite material light in weight, excellent in corrosion resistance and having a high electric conductivity. <P>SOLUTION: The metal-glass composite material 10 comprises a metal-glass layer 14 comprising an Fe group and/or an Ni group as a main component formed on the surface of a metallic substrate 12 with a specific gravity of ≤3.0, wherein thickness of the metal-glass layer 14 is not more than 500 μm and is not more than 40% of the thickness of the metallic substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
