PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation technique capable of determining automatically a destination or a through point and capable of guiding a route for a driver, with an input by a specified person outside a vehicle using an easy operation the same as a usual electronic mail, and with transmission thereof. SOLUTION: This navigation system for guiding the route on a map from a start point up to the destination or the through point is provided with an information communication part 20 for acquiring the electronic mail via a communication line, a text information extraction part 49 and a composition analytical part 50 for extracting a prescribed mode of command sentence from the acquired electronic mail, a judgement processing part 51 for judging whether information included in the extracted command sentence is a preliminarily registered one or not, and a destination setting part 41 for retrieving a point included in the command sentence, from a registered list or a map database, and for setting the retrieved point as the destination or the through point.
