The current position information on a race horse or racing boat of a horse/boat race by analyzing patrol videos captured around the racecourse is acquired, the similarity of a specific horse/boat of the images on continuous screens of the patrol videos is judged, the specific horse/boat is tracked, and thereby the race progress (trace) of each horse/boat is displayed. In a horse/boat position information analyzing/displaying method, for continuous race captured images, the horses/boats are identified by a similarity analysis, the trace of each horse /boat in the race images are continuously tracked. The horse/boat position information is analyzed from the position information on fixed position information in each image is analyzed, and the traces of the horses/boats are displayed. The horses/boats are identified in a template matching the sizes of horses/boats by using the template for the identification. The shape of the template is a hexagon, and the size of the template is variable depending on the size of each horse/boat shown on the image. |
