PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a braking force provided by an applicable pad (pad with abnormally increased coefficient of friction) from being excessively increased in a disk brake device with a servo mechanism. SOLUTION: In this disc brake device, a braking piston 14 assembled in the cylinder part 15b of a caliper is pressed according to an operating force, and the pads 12, 13 are pressed toward a disc rotor 11. During the braking, a friction force between the pads 12, 13 and the disc rotor 11 in the circumferential direction is taken out as an anchor load, and the anchor load is converted to a servo load toward the disc rotor 11 by the servo mechanism and added to the pads 12, 13. The servo mechanism 20 comprises functional parts (levers 21, 23) adding the anchor load taken out by the inner pad 12 to the outer pad 13 as the servo load and functional parts (levers 22, 24) adding the anchor load taken out by the outer pad 13 to the inner pad 12 as the servo load.
