PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film formation apparatus capable of easily manufacturing an optical film such as a brightness enhancement film with a wide reflection band area and a visual field angle enlargement film. SOLUTION: The coating film formation apparatus is provided with a paying-out device for continuously paying out a first support; a coating head for coating the first support paid out from the paying-out device with a composition for coating film formation to provide the coating film; a means for giving projection/recession on at least one surface of a second support; a means for sticking the first support and the second support while the surface given with the projection/recession of the second support is opposed to the surface provided with the coating film of the first support; and a UV-ray curing irradiation device for irradiating the coating film provided between the first support and the second support with a UV ray to cure the coating film.
