<p>A tilt-telescopic steering column apparatus includes a steering shaft (15); a first supporting member (5) rotatably supporting a lower shaft (1) of steering shaft (15); a second supporting member (11) rotatably supporting an upper shaft (2) of steering wheel and movable in the axial direction; a first screw shaft (26) disposed in substantially parallel with the steering shaft (15), and supported rotatably by one of the first supporting member (5) and the second supporting member (11) to be capable of being drivingly rotated; a first nut member (32) screwed on the first screw shaft (26); a second screw shaft (36) disposed in substantially parallel with the steering shaft (15) and disposed to be coaxial with the first screw shaft (26); and a second nut member (42) screwed on the second screw shaft (36), and fixed on the one of the first supporting member (5) and the second supporting member (11). One end portion of the second screw shaft (36) is rotatably supported by another of the first supporting member (5) and the second supporting member (11) to be capable of being drivingly rotated. Another end portion of the second screw shaft (36) is inserted into a hollow (26b) of the first screw shaft (26) to be movable in the axial direction with respect to the first screw shaft (26).</p> |
