<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic translation device having higher translation accuracy; and to provide an automatic translation system, a voice recognition system and a program. <P>SOLUTION: This program makes a computer function as dictionary databases 182 and 184 where dictionary data required in translating content of an utterance of a first language into a second language are stored therein and translation processing parts 110 and 120 for receiving meta-information for associating the content of the utterance and an image of the content of the utterance to translate the content of the utterance into a second language by searching the dictionary databases based on the meta-information. In the dictionary databases, a translation of the second language, and accessary information including at least one of the meaning, relevant phrases and examples of use of each word are stored by relating it to each word of the first language. The translation processing part searches the dictionary databases by using the meta-information, identifies phrases constituting the content of the utterance of the first language and translates the identified phrases into the second language by using the translation of words corresponding to the identified phrases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
