CONTENT DELIVERING METHOD AND SYSTEM

A method and an apparatus for preventing a large load from being placed on the servers of content issuers. There are included forward proxy servers (FPSs) for providing services to clients; and reverse proxy servers (RPSs) for providing services to the FPS. The FPSs store information identifiers, while the RPSs store the information identifiers in association with the identifiers of the FPSs. When receiving an updated content from the server of a content issuer, an RPS transfers the content to an FPS related to the information identifier of the content. The FPS provides the content to its client. A network control node controls the assignment of clients to the FPSs and also controls the assignment of the FPSs to the RPSs so as to disperse the loads.
