摘要 <p>A laser light source comprising a semiconductor laser (102) outputting an excitation light, and a laser resonator in which a solid laser crystal (104) is joined with a non-linear optical crystal (103) by an optical contact with a reflection coat (106) and a reflection coat (105) being formed on the opposite-side surfaces of the respective crystals, wherein GdVO<SUB>4</SUB> is used as the solid laser crystal (104) and LiNbO<SUB>3</SUB> as the non-linear optical crystal (103), and the crystal axis of the solid laser crystal (104) is tilted to the z axis of the non-linear optical crystal (103) within the zx plane of the non-linear optical crystal (103). Accordingly, since the thermal expansion coefficient of the solid laser crystal can be approximated to that of the non-linear optical crystal, the laser crystal and the non-linear optical crystal that have been joined together by heat produced during laser oscillation are prevented from separating from each other due to the difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the solid laser crystal and the non-linear optical crystal, whereby the problem of laser oscillation stopping can be avoided.</p>
