Provided is a method and an apparatus for casting art sheet glass, which enable to produce art sheet glasses in continuous manner and to form three-dimensional patterns on both sides of the glass. The method for casting art sheet glass comprises the steps of: manufacturing a casting frame formed of a lower casting frame(120) and an upper casting frame(200); connecting the lower casting frame(120) to a heating panel(110) and placing a sheet glass(130) on the lower casting frame(120); putting the heating panel(110) into a first furnace for heating the heating panel(110) to a slumping point of the sheet glass(130); heating the sheet glass(130) to a strain point with a heater or heat from the heating panel(110); heating the sheet glass to a slumping point to form a lower pattern; conveying the heating panel(110) to a second furnace; cooling the sheet glass(130) down to a softening point; lowering the upper casting frame(200) to compress the softened sheet glass and thus, to form an upper pattern; cooling the sheet glass(130) to room temperature; and separating the sheet glass(130) from the lower casting frame(120).
