PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily correct or change white balance output values. SOLUTION: By converting R/G signal and B/G signal obtained based on imaging signals into logarithm, the black radiation on R-B plane with G signal as reference becomes a straight line represented by R=cB+z. The correction in color temperature direction on a fixed white balance output is easily calculated based on a linear expression without referencing a table or the like. Using a straight line orthogonal to the straight line R=cB+z, a corrective process in chrominance deviation direction can be easily calculated based on a linear expression as well.
