PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluating system for protein kinase inhibiting activity in On-chip examination in a simple method which corresponds to a high through put for drug design screening. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the method for detecting the phosphorylation inhibition activity comprising detection of the phosphorylation by a surface plasmon resonance on a peptide or a protein by acting a solution containing a protein kinase or a solution considered to contain the substance on a chip composed of the peptide or the protein immobilized on the chip, wherein the detection is carried out in the coexistence of a compound having protein kinase inhibiting activity or a compound considered to have the activity in the solution.
