A control method of a food waste treatment apparatus is provided to automatically select the microorganism management processes according to the existence of food waste. A food detection process(300) discriminates whether the food waste is projected into the inside of a decomposition cistern having plural ceramic balls containing microorganism. If the food waste is projected into the inside of the decomposition cistern, at the food agitation and decomposition process(310), the food waste and ceramic balls are mixed and agitated with each other so that the food waste is decomposed by the microorganism. If the food waste is not projected into the inside of the decomposition cistern above the constant time, at a microorganism management process(320), a survivable environment is offered to the microorganism. |
