<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting apparatus and a sorting method of waste plastics which can accurately separate waste plastics which are a mixture of solid plastics, film plastics and foreign material, into solid plastics, film plastics and foreign material. <P>SOLUTION: The sorting apparatus of waste plastics has a longitudinal introduction pipe, wherein the lower end of the introduction pipe consists of a first discharging part for discharging a heavy material by a free fall, the upper end of the introduction pipe consists of a second discharging part for discharging a light material by making it accompany air flow, and an introduction pipe part between the first discharging part and the second discharging part is arranged with an air introduction part, a third discharging part for discharging a middle weight material by making it accompany air flow and a waste-plastics supplying part in order from below. The waste plastics are separated into the solid plastics, the film plastics and the foreign material to be recovered as the solid plastics from the third discharging part, as the film plastics from the second discharging part and as the foreign material from the first discharging part, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
