PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for a coin locker for using the locker many times by a specific coin by early recovering a locker rental fee without waiting up to an end of use of the locker. SOLUTION: This lock device for the coin locker is formed so that a driving means 10 locks and unlocks by driving a locking means 1g by the rotational movement of a cylinder lock 1i. When a regulating means 20 regulates rotary operation of the cylinder lock in a key unextractable position, when a coin storage means 30 stores the predetermined number of coins inputted to a coin input port 1c, a regulation releasing means 40 releases regulation of the rotary operation. A recovery means 50 leaves a part of the coins stored in the storage means as a return coin in response to the rotary operation of the cylinder lock after releasing the regulation, and recovers a residual part as a fee coin. A return means 60 returns residual coins to a coin return port 1d in response to return operation by a return operation means 1e operable only when the cylinder lock exists in the key unextractable position, and the regulating means regulates the rotary operation of the cylinder lock in response to this return.
