PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a low-load operating state both for cooling and heating so as to achieve energy savings and increase indoor comfort. SOLUTION: An internal controller 12' of an air conditioner 9 is caused to hold two temperatures, i.e., a set cooling temperature tspC' and a set heating temperature tspH', as desired temperatures within a room 17 to be controlled. On receiving a cooling operation request as a remote control signal from a central supervisory board 1, the internal controller 12' sends an inverter output to a fan 13 so that while the cooling operation request is on, the temperature tpv within the room 17 to be controlled coincides with the set cooling temperature tspC'. On receiving a heating operation request as a remote control signal from the central supervisory board 1, the internal controller 12' sends an inverter output to the fan 13 so that while the heating operation request is on, the temperature tpv within the room 17 to be controlled coincides with the set heating temperature tspH'.
