SOLUTION: This shift control device is constituted so that when determining a 3→2 down-shift in 4→3 down-shift operation, a turbine rotating speed NT is quickly increased by engine torque for performing the torque-down control (reducing throttle valve openingθ<SB>TH</SB>) by waiting until the turbine rotating speed NT becomes a rotating speed or more lower by a predetermined value n1 than a 2nd synchronous rotating speed, and the desired driving force is quickly provided by quickly performing the 3→2 down-shift while preventing the racing of an engine.
