INK JET HEAD AND ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of times of diffusion bonding process of ink jet head. SOLUTION: Inflow opening 12 and ejection opening 4 of ink, and a manifold 1 having a channel connecting both openings are formed by laminating and diffusion bonding a plurality of sheets of thin metal plates 5-9 having a hole for ink channel, and an orifice plate 19 and a diaphragm 10 are bonded to the manifold 1 in correspondence with the ejection opening. In such an ink jet head, the orifice plate 19 and the diaphragm 10 provided in succession on one sheet of metal blank plate 32 are diffusion bonded to the surface of the manifold 1.
