STEEL MOLD FOR WHEEL INGOTS

The invention relates to the metallurgy and concerns the steel mold for wheel ingots. A casting mold is made in the form of cylindrical housing with constant external diameter with circular shape of cross section. Working surfaces are made from separate hot-rolled rings connected between them with the help of appropriate annular lugs and cavities at the ends of adjacent rings by welding. The height of each ring makes 0.09-0.31 of the heights of housing. The use of invention will make it possible to increase the durability of steel wheel casting mold and to increase the stability of external diameter of obtained ingot.
