PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a film of good properties and appearance in the inflation molding of thermoplastic resin demonstrating anisotropy at the time of melting. SOLUTION: An inflation molding die 50 is provided with a cylindrical die main body 2 with a hollow section, a mandrel 4 disposed in the hollow section of the die main body 2 and two substrates 6a and 6b disposed in its resin flow paths 12 formed in clearances between the die main body 2 and the mandrel 4 and supporting the mandrel 4 on the die main body 2. The substrates 6a and 6b are disposed facing each other on a line passing through the central axis of the mandrel 4. The sectional shape of the substrates 6a and 6b is formed close to the streamline shape. The total horizontal direction sectional area in the resin flow paths 12 of the substrates 6a and 6b on the positions of height whereon the widths of the substrates 6a and 6b are largest is approximately 1/12 of the horizontal direction sectional area of the resin flow paths 12 on the position of height. |
