A drying method of a drying apparatus is provided to improve the drying efficiency of the laundry and reduce the drying time by highly controlling the temperature of the hot blast through the heater at the early drying condition. A drying method of a drying apparatus comprises a first drying step(S3) of supplying the hot blast to a drum at a first set temperature at the early drying condition; a second drying step(S5) of supplying a hot blast to the drum with a second set temperature lower than the first set temperature if the dryness of the laundry reaches the first set value; and a third drying step(S7) of supplying the hot blast to the drum with a third set temperature lower than the second set temperature if the dryness of the laundry reaches the second set value. A cooling air drying step is contained to supply the cooling air to the drum if the dryness of the laundry reaches the third set value.
