<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a digital composite machine of a simple composition, and effectively performs parallel operation of image processing in a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The digital composite machine 1 is provided with a scanner engine 50 which performs predetermined image processing, a printer engine 60, and a FAX engine 70, and performs image processing, based on control of a DSP 15, and a CPU 14.
