<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispensing container capable of returning residual liquid left in a dispensing path of an inner plug into a container main body when an over-cap is fitted to the container and lid is closed after the stored liquid is dispensed. <P>SOLUTION: This dispensing container comprises a container main body A that can be deformed through squeezing operation, an inner plug B and an over-cap C. The container main body A has a neck part 2 provided with screw threads at its outer periphery and a mouth cylinder 3 provided with screw threads oppositely threaded against the screw threads of the neck part. The inner plug B comprises an inner cylinder 12 of which the outer periphery slides at the inner periphery of the mouth cylinder and an outer cylinder 13 having a plurality of vertical grooves 20 at its outer periphery and screw threads engaged with the screw threads of the mouth cylinder 3 of the container main body at its inner periphery. The over-cap C comprises a plug 26 fitted into the dispensing path 15 and an outer cylinder 28 having a plurality of vertical ribs 30 at the upper part of its inner periphery to be engaged with the vertical grooves 20 of the outer cylinder of the inner plug and having screw threads engaged with the screw threads of the neck part 2.
