PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door structure wherein one sliding door can be selectively used either as an upper hanging sliding door or as a lower load sliding door, stock of the members at manufacturing facilities is reduced and reduction of the number of parts results in a reduction of cost and increase in production efficiency while suspending attachments and door rollers can be easily installed on site. SOLUTION: An engaging groove 7 is formed in a mounting member 4 which is attached selectively to either of an upper end or a lower end of the sliding door 1. The engaging groove 7 has a lateral groove and a vertical groove which together form approximately an L-shape. The mounting member 4 is attached to the upper end of the sliding door 1 with the vertical groove facing upward in relation to the lateral groove and also a hook 5 on the suspending attachment is engaged from the lateral groove to the vertical groove, so as to compose the upper hanging sliding door 1A. On the other hand, the mounting member 4 is vertically flipped to have the vertical groove face downward in relation to the lateral groove for attaching the mounting member 4 to the lower end of the sliding door 1 and a hook 6 on the door roller is engaged from the lateral groove to the vertical groove, so that the lower load sliding door 1B is composed.
