<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which can improve a dot reproducibility in the case of forming a small-sized dot. <P>SOLUTION: An exposure section 11 outputs a laser beam for forming electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive drum 14. A pulse width operation section 143 computes the pulse width of drive signal of a semiconductor laser 113 according to the size of each dot that composes image. A light-emitting strength determination section 145 determines the light-emitting strength of laser beam according to the pulse width computed by the pulse width operation section 143. The exposure section 11 modulates the pulse width of drive signal from the pulse width computed by the pulse width operation section 143 and changes the light-emitting strength of laser beam from the light-emitting strength determined by the light-emitting strength determination section 145. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
