MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR POLARIZING PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a polarizing plate having improved problems etc., of breakage of an antistatic layer in an alkali saponification stage when a cellulose ester film provided with the antistatic layer by cocasting and larger curling because of influence of an applied solvent on a base material with the cellulose ester film. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the polarizing plate using the laminated cellulose ester film as a polarizing plate protective film includes the stages of: manufacturing a plurality of cellulose ester solutions which contain antistatics and particles and differ in additive composition or concentration; forming the cellulose ester film laminated by pushing out the cellulose ester solutions from a die slit to a support for casting at the same time and casting them; saponifying the laminated cellulose ester film; and sticking the saponified cellulose ester film on the polarizer.
