PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EL device, equipped with a protective sheet hardly forming air bubbles between the protective sheet and a sealing film, hardly peeled off from the sealing film, and a manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: The organic EL device 10 is provided with an organic EL element 20 fitted on a substrate 12, a sealing film 30 fitted on the surface of the organic EL element, and the protective sheet 14 fitted on the surface of the sealing film 30.
