FIELD: ultrasonic inspection of materials. ^ SUBSTANCE: radiator radiates ultrasonic oscillation pulses. Receiver receives pulse after they passed sample. Speed of propagation of pulses is measured as well as decay factor of ultrasonic oscillations. After model (1) is subject to parametric identification, meanings of m and n factors are determined, which factors differ for any brand of polymer. Limit of break strength is calculated on base of measured parameters from formula , where sigma is rupture strength, kgs/cm2; rho is polymer density, kg/cm3; h is thickness of sample, cm; c is speed of sound, cm/s; alpha is ultrasound decay factor, cm-1, omega is ultrasonic oscillation frequency, s-1. ^ EFFECT: improved truth of results; improved precision. ^ 1 tbl, 3 dwg |
