PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method and a processing machine for manufacturing an optical surface formed into a complicated shape, in particular, a lens for eye and a mold for manufacturing the lens for eye directly in only one process by setting data individually. SOLUTION: A linear driving device 6 and a second linear driving device 13 controlled in the direction reverse to the linear driving device 6 are arranged in series on the same line to each other in the direction of Z-axis, respectively. A casing or a stator of the second linear driving device 13 is mechanically connected with a casing or a stator of the first linear driving device 6 through a machine bed.
