To mount a component to a base body, such as a mounting frame (3) for a radiator grille to the wing (1) of a vehicle, both have at least one mounting section as a polygonal slit (9). It takes a holding groove (17) lock for the inserted lock unit (10). Both have a mounting flange (24) where the lock unit (10) is secured by a screw (26). Tightening the screw (26) distorts a flange (22) to clamp the holding section of the frame (3), through at least a twin-axis clamping action without free play at the frame (3) clamping ramps (18, 18'), the laying supports (19, 20), limit supports (21, 21') and clamping ramp (21''). The lock unit is a one-piece plastics component, pref. of polyamide. |
