DEODORIZATION APPARATUS AND GARBAGE DISPOSER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorization apparatus which is capable of enhancing the heating efficiency of a fin catalyst and keeping the temperature of the fin surface high even if calorific power of the catalyst heater is small and which decreases the working cost.

SOLUTION: The deodorization apparatus is able to enhance the heating efficiency of the fin catalyst 34 and to keep the temperature of the fin surface high even if the calorific power of the heater 33 is small and decreases the working cost by providing the heater 33 at the central part of a housing 32 of which the section is ellipse or rectangular and providing the fin catalyst 34 having a metal plate formed spirally on the perimeter of the heater 33 and having the catalyst supported by the surface in order to lessen the heat dissipation from the housing 32 by decreasing the surface area of the housing 32.
