PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control transmitter mainly used for operations of various electronic apparatuses that is simply configured and can surely carry out opening/closing operations and remote control. SOLUTION: The remote control transmitter capable of attaining opening/closing operations without causing a gap between a door body 16 and an upper face of a case 1 and executing sure remote control can be provided, because an elastic member 16A pressed into contact with a sensing switch 5 provided to the door body 16 mounted to the case 1 in an openable/closable way from/to the case 1 cancels an upward energizing force by a sensing section 2B applied to the door body 16 so as to prevent a floating force from being applied to the door body 16 after the electric contact/discontact of the sensing switch 5 depressed by the elastic member 16A when the door body 16 is closed.
