PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having a drawer type door with a drawing margin extendable to the maximum at a low cost without causing degradation of refrigerating capacity and an increase of power consumption. SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises: a pair of two-stage frames 19 allowing a vegetable chamber door 5 to be drawn out; upper frames 14 constituting the two-stage frames 19, fixed at the front ends to the vegetable chamber door 5, and having at least two upper frame fixing rollers; lower frames 16 constituting the two-stage frames 19 together with the upper frames 14 and having roller operating parts, lower frame fixing rollers, body fixing roller sliding surfaces and stopper parts; body fixing rollers 12 provided at vegetable chamber walls to allow the body fixing roller sliding surfaces of the lower frames 16 to slide thereon, and abutting on the stopper parts of the lower frames 14 in the fully opened state of the vegetable chamber door 5; body fixing rails 13 provided at the vegetable chamber walls and allowing the operation of the lower frame fixing rollers; and a food storage case with its lower part supported by the upper frames 16.
