<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce complicated operations for repeating change of port names every time ports for enabling a printer are set to a plurality of computers. <P>SOLUTION: This information processor which sets the ports as output destinations or input destinations corresponding to peripheral devices is disclosed. The information processor has an acquisition means for acquiring identification information of the ports from the peripheral devices and a determination means for determining whether or not the identification information of the ports are set in the peripheral devices. When the determination means determines that the identification information of the ports are not set in the peripheral devices, the information processor sets the identification information of the ports corresponding to the peripheral devices, to the peripheral devices and has a setting means for further setting the identification information of the ports to the information processor as names of the ports. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
