PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display in which convenience on the network is enhanced over a wider range. SOLUTION: When bus reset occurs on a first IEEE1394 bus 41 on a first 1394 network 51 where a television receiver 10 itself exists and the television receiver 10 recognizes existence of a first communication device 31 communicable with a second 1394 network 52 on the same first 1394 network 51, apparatus information of 1394 apparatus 31, 21-23 connected actually or virtually with the first IEEE1394 bus 41 is acquired from the first communication device 31.
