A drive power auto-cutoff apparatus of a DC/DC converter is provided to simply and inexpensively minimize power in a light load by automatically cutting off operation of the DC/DC converter. A drive power auto-cutoff apparatus of a DC/DC converter includes a DC/DC converter(10), a switch(SW3), and a duty detecting circuit unit(30). The switch(SW3) feeds drive power to the DC/DC converter(10). The duty detecting circuit unit(30) automatically cuts off an operation of the DC/DC converter(10) by turning the switch(SW3) off as a duty rate of the DC/DC converter(10) is reduced.
