ON-VEHICLE ACOUSTIC CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle acoustic control apparatus capable of shifting a direction of a sound image of a sound effect.

SOLUTION: A sound effect generator 101L generates a sound effect signal representing the sound effect from an input acoustic signal for each of a plurality of speakers 108L. The sound effect generator 101L adjusts an output timing and/or an output level of the sound effect signal by each speaker. Further, an adder 104L summates any sound effect signal produced from the sound effect generator 101L to the input acoustic signal to produce a summation signal. The speakers 108L emit the sound into a vehicle interior according to the sound effect signal generated by the sound effect generator 101L or the summation signal produced by the adder 104L.
