<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera capable of outputting a through-image while suppressing the circuit scale. <P>SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of color elements arranged in a planar way in a color filter 14 includes any of R, G, and B. An image sensor 12 includes a plurality of light receiving elements respectively covered by the color elements as above. When a read instruction is issued, a CMOS driver 16 reads electric charges of pixels corresponding to one line from the image sensor 12. A color separation circuit 32 applies color separation processing to pixels corresponding to four lines to generate processing pixels equivalent to one line. An LCD monitor 46 outputs a display image on the basis of the generated processing pixels. A read controller 30 issues the read instruction to the CMOS driver 16 every time target color separation is completed for four lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
