<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass composition for decoration substantially free of lead and suitable for the decoration of a top plate for a cooker or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The inventive glass composition for decoration is characterized in that it is substantially free of lead, in that it comprises a glass composition in mass percentage of 55-70% SiO<SB>2</SB>, 15-25% B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 3-10% Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0.1-4.9% BaO, 0.1-5% ZnO, 0-3% CaO, 0-3% MgO, 0.1-5% Li<SB>2</SB>O, 0-10% Na<SB>2</SB>O, 0.3-15% K<SB>2</SB>O and 0-2% F<SB>2</SB>, and in that the softening point is not lower than 600°C and lower than 700°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
