<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wasteful energy consumption and to improve fuel efficiency by making a vehicle driving unit output no vehicle driving force larger than a propulsion force required by a driver, in a control device of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The control device of the vehicle comprises a control means that calculates the vehicle driving force from a required braking force detected by a required braking force detection means, calculates the amount of the vehicle required driving force from the required driving force detected by the required driving force detection means and a creeping force determined by a creeping force control means, compares the vehicle required driving force and the upper limit value of the vehicle driving force, and selects the smaller value as the vehicle driving force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
