A data traffic management and control method and device. The method comprises: detecting out a network state of a terminal being switched to a second network state from a first network state; carrying out statistics on information about data traffic of the terminal in the second network state; and performing, according to the obtained information about the data traffic of the terminal in the second network state, data traffic management and control. The technical solution of the present invention can be used for carrying out grouping statistics on data traffic in different network states, and is capable of performing data traffic management and control prompt when the network state is switched, thereby avoiding a large number of data traffic expenses caused by excess use of the data traffic, and being beneficial to improvement of user experience. |
