PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent performance degradation and damage by preventing the use of devices other than battery-pack-dedicated devices, such as general purpose and original chargers used in charging a battery pack. SOLUTION: The battery pack, which charges and discharges a built-in secondary battery connected in series with a discharge control switch, and the battery-pack-dedicated device comprise a wireless communication means for establishing wireless communication between the battery pack and the dedicated device, an authentication means for transmitting or receiving an authentication ID by the wireless communication between the battery pack and the dedicated device via the wireless communication means to perform ID matching authentication, and a limitation means for limiting the charge and discharge according to the authentication result of the authentication means.
