PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microphone in which one member can protect a diaphragm and stretch the diaphragm, and as a result, the reduction of the number of parts enables cost reduction. SOLUTION: The condenser microphone 10 has a diaphragm 17; a casing 12 made of an electric insulator; and a back plate 15 formed by sticking an electronic circuit board 13 having an impedance conversion element mounted thereon, and arranged in the casing 12 oppositely to the diaphragm 17. The condenser microphone 10 has a cover 19 formed by integrally forming a stretcher 19c for stretching the diaphragm 17 at a side opposite to the casing 12 with the diaphragm 17 sandwiched and a protective section arranged so as to cover the diaphragm 17 to protect it.
