PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a manufacturing process, and to reduce production costs by improving shapes of grooves for inducing normal and reverse rotation of a control rod in an air operation type tool. SOLUTION: This tool has a body (10), an air cylinder (20), a cover (30), and a control unit (40). A normal rotation inducing groove (431), and a reverse rotation inducing groove (432) extend along the axial direction of the control unit (40) on both of diameter direction sides of the control unit (40) and the control rod (43). The normal rotation inducing groove (431) and the reverse rotation inducing groove (432) are indented toward an inner side than a periphery of a column, and independently exist without crossing or connecting with each other. It is easy to machine the normal and reverse rotation inducing grooves (431, 432) extending in the axial direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
