<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a coated paper having light-weight, thinly coated texture and qualities necessary for coated paper in improved productivity. <P>SOLUTION: At least two coating layers are applied to the front face of a base paper with coating apparatuses having different coating methods as a means for applying a coating layer on the surface of a base paper.
