The system has an electro hydraulic 2-way flow control valve (201) controlled by a control unit and assigned to a servo steering system to adjust flow rate. A hydraulic consumer (V) is connected to a pressure region between a hydraulic pump and the valve (201) under interconnection of another electro hydraulic 2-way flow control valve (202), such that the hydraulic pressure is used upstream as pressure signal for controlling the valves. An independent claim is also included for an operation method for a hydraulic servo steering system.
