PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric component allowing a rocking angle of an operation part to be changed without changing its outline size. SOLUTION: A switch component includes: a slide switch 3 having a slide lever 13 housed in a case 1 and projecting sideward; and an operation part 2 arranged above the slide switch 3, having a rotational center in the case 1 and rockingly attached thereto. In the switch component, the operation part 2 has an operation arm 21 linked to the slide lever 13 so as to slide it in response to the rocking; the slide lever 21 comprises a lateral lever part 16 projecting sideward from the slide switch 3, and a vertical lever part 17 projecting generally in the vertical direction from a tip of the lateral lever part 16; and the operation arm 21 has an engagement part 22 engaging with the vertical lever part 17 so as to set the rotational center of the operation part 2 at a predetermined distance from the lateral lever part 16.
